Vaulted ceilings are a great way to make a room feel bigger, but they can be a real pain in the neck when trying to figure out what kind of art to hang. Right now I’m dedorating a living room with a twenty-foot vaulted ceiling and it’s been a challenge deciding on artwork. The right piece  can completely transform the space, but with such a large expanse of wall, we’re leaning heavily toward a large-scale piece that will make a dramatic focal point in the room.  In this case, bigger truly is better!  Here are some of my favorite examples:

    Great images. That Thom Filicia room is stunning — I would never think to use a round rug like that, but it looks great.
