designer love: elsa soyars

While searching for tile for a client’s master bathroom, I somehow stumbled across the work of interior designer Elsa Soyars and immediately devoured every gorgeous image in her portfolio.  For me, spaces that strike the perfect balance between sophisticated elegance and casual comfort make the most impact and Elsa nails it with her clean and classic style (and a little animal print thrown in for good measure!)  Her spaces are warm and welcoming, beckoning you to sit down, put your feet up and relax.

This entryway is the perfect example; the formality of the paneling is understated by the seagrass runner on the stairs, the woven stool and zebra print pillow:

A muted color palette reigns supreme in these living spaces:

Love the combination of the navy blue trellis rug and brown velvet Roman shades in this cozy office space:

Another gorgeous white kitchen:

The coffered ceiling on the porch is breathtaking:

There is some real talent there…and some good budgets! I love the clean lines of her work.
