tangerine tango

Pantone’s color of the year for 2012 is tangerine tango and what a great pick, if you ask me. While it’s certainly not a hue for the faint-hearted, everyone can use a little orange in their life-in small doses, this vibrant shade adds a pop of color to the gloomy winter and reminds me of the warm summer days right around the corner.  Add a bowl of clementines, a few pillows or a cozy throw for a bright punch of color that’s sure to cheer up your home this winter:

I love your idea of a bowl of clementines! This color looks so fresh mixed with all the white.

Thanks, Maryann! It's about as wild as I get with the color in my house, but it works! 🙂
