color crush: peacock blue

I am obsessed with this color!  The perfect mix of blue and green, it’s such a rich, saturated shade that is perfect for Fall, especially when paired with gold or brass accents.  While everyone else is crushing on burgundy and hunter green this Fall, I’m still stuck on peacock blue.  Like any other bold hue, it’s most dramatic in small doses, like throw pillows or an ottoman, the backs of bookshelves or an accent color for a ceiling.  I’m feeling a bit under the weather today, and I can’t think of anything better than some eye candy in this gorgeous shade.  Happy Monday!

I'm so smitten with this color! I just painted my painted my powder room in Gentleman's Gray (Benjamin Moore), and it's a deep, moody blue, similar to some of these that you featured. Gorgeous!

Jenny, I LOVE your powder room!! And I especially love that you chose a glossy finish – your gold frames look fabulous against it!!
