I am anxiously awaiting the November release of interior designer Thom Filicia's new book, American Beauty, which chronicles the transformation of his 1917 lake house in upstate New York.  I first got a glimpse of this lovely waterfront retreat in my beloved Domino a few years back and immediately fell in love, so an entire book dedictated to all the nooks and crannies of this beautiful home has my mouth watering.  Here are a few images we've all seen in blogland over the last few years:
