winter whites
Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 09:57AM Winter time, and January in particular, always makes me want to curl up under a soft, fuzzy blanket in front of the fire with a cup of tea and my nose in a good book. Unfortunately, we've been experiencing temps in the mid-to-high 70's lately, so it's shorts and tee shirts for me, boo! I strive for calm, quiet and peacefulness this time of year and interiors with winter white tones, lots of natural texture, warm wood furniture and beautiful brass and gold accents definitely help in creating a cozy and inviting space. There is nothing like a well-executed all-white room (or outfit, for that matter!). Here are some beautiful examples:
