fit for a little king
Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 04:10PM With all the nurseries and baby furniture I've been commissioned to work on over the last few months, I should seriously consider changing my business name to "Nurseries by Bungalow Blue"! Kid's spaces are so much fun to work on because they are almost impossible to take too seriously and I get to be a kid myself, while designing them! Lately, it's been nothing but pink, pink and more pink, so I'm super excited to work on a space for a baby boy! We may be going neutral, but there will be a lot of texture and interest, thanks to the most amazing flokati rug, a mounted longhorn (Daddy is a University of Texas alumni), a burlap/linen glider, beautiful slate linen curtain panels and a generously sized gallery wall. Here is where we're at so far:

We're also adding this buffet, which is currently in the process of getting a makeover and will serve as the changing table:

It's going to be refinished in this gorgeous gray/blue paint, Benjamin Moore Pewter:

...and then topped with a coat of tinted glaze, light distressing and these adorable monkey's fist knot knobs:

This is going to be a quick turnaround, so stay tuned for progress pics soon!
