the most incredibly priced, oversize outdoor lantern lights!

I’ve been on the hunt for some oversize lantern lights for my front porch for a while now; if you’ve been following, I won’t bore you with the details – I’ve posted about my search here, here and here.  I had finally decided on some copper beauties that were on major sale and then, in typical fashion, I dragged my feet and missed it.  Then, on a random stop into Lowe’s a couple of weeks ago I spotted Allen and Roth’s new outdoor lighting line, Parsons Field, and about had a heart attack! There are three different sizes and the biggest one is a whopping 27 inches long!  They have a beautiful black iron finish and seeded glass and…are you ready?…they cost $110!!!!  I couldn’t get them in my cart fast enough.  I’m in LOVE.  Talk about curb appeal; they are the perfect statement piece and make quite a first impression.

Love my lover’s knot coco coir door mat from Hayneedle:

For the first time in a decade of living in the south, my ferns did not fare well this summer, despite liquid iron, plenty of water and lots of shade, so I swapped them for some inexpensive palms and hot pink vincas:

Aren’t they gorgeous?

Back to the lanterns…love how they look at night:

Head to Lowe’s to see the rest of the collection and additional sizes.  And don’t forget to show your military ID for an additional 10% off!

Happy Hump Day!

So inviting… The scale on the lanterns is the perfect exclamation point to welcome guests. I am also loving that lover's knot door mat!!!

Thank you, Lynn! That's exactly how I want everyone to feel when they walk up to my home! Thanks again for the tip on the mat!
