wednesday wish list: updated classics

Happy Wednesday!  There are so many things for the home, wardrobe and jewelry box that come across my radar that I had a hard time narrowing down this week’s wish list.  I kept coming back to classic staples with a bit of a modern update and since that’s the aesthetic I strive for for my own home and closet, I figured you’d love it, too!  This week is all about classics with a modern twist – think fabulous copper flatware, marble and brass serving pieces and French wine glasses that can double as water goblets for dinner parties! I’ve got a bunch of pretties to help get you over the hump today and so, since I’m already late in posting, let’s get to it!

The curves of this sconce have a more modern feel, but the antique brass finish ensures it will be a classic piece for a long time!

This moody, black and white Moment at Sea print would be a beautiful compliment to many different decor styles!

The hubby gave me the sparkliest pair of diamond studs for Christmas, which I wear all the time now, but I’m coveting these gorgeous drop earrings for date nights or just to dress up a tee and jeans!

Shiny copper flatware is a beautiful way to dress up simple white dinnerware (I’ve seen this set in person and it’s STUNNING!!)

A black python clutch (monogrammed, of course) is a timeless piece every girl should have in their closet!

I’m dying over the curves of this tufted linen chaise and the price can’t be beat, either!

A marble and brass serving tray doubles as decoration on your kitchen countertops when not in use!

I was one of the last to jump on the ikat train, but I love how the larger dots lend a modern feel to this black and white throw pillow.

I’m obsessed with these French wine glasses; I ordered a dozen to use as water goblets at my next dinner party in an attempt to channel the fabulous Ina Garten herself.  At $5 a pop, you can’t go wrong!

I never thought I’d tire of my gold chronograph….until I saw this Daniel Wellington!  I love the rose gold detailing and leather strap!
