outdoor planters to boost curb appeal this spring

Now that spring is in full effect it’s so funny to pass by and see the parking lots at Lowe’s and local nurseries packed to the gills while shoppers scramble for flowers, fern and mulch to spruce up their yards.  And for good reason: I’m a total believer that a good first impression to your home starts outside and one of the easiest ways to boost curb appeal is with outdoor planters.  I can’t think of a better way to make a dramatic impact than with a pair of gorgeous planters flanking your front door and spilling over with boxwoods, ferns, trees or plants and colorful blooms.  If you only do one thing to spruce up your porch or patio this spring, let this be it.  The best part is that you don’t need a green thumb to keep them looking amazing!

Below are a few outdoor planters I’m loving lately; they all pack a decorative punch, from rustic whiskey barrels (I have a pair on my deck and I absolutely LOVE them!) and fiberglass zinc lookalikes (way lighter and easier to move around than the real deal) to glossy white square boxes and even oversize seagrass baskets (they look just as amazing on screened-in or covered porches as they do indoors).  Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot and Lowe’s all have some great (and affordable) options on larger pots, too.  Here are my faves this spring:

1.  Napoli planter  2.  Whiskey barrel  3.  Keter rattan planters  4.  Canna planters

5.  Seagrass basket  6.  Lexington planter  7.  Cardiff planter

8.  Chappelle planter  9.  Mayne planter

What are some of your favorite planters and where do you find the best deals?  I’d love to know!
