can you stand the sweetness?

This post should really be titled, "OMG", because the cuteness is just too much to bear!  I can't think of anything sweeter for a child's nursery than photographic prints of baby animals and Sharon Montrose's animal prints have me searching for the nearest furry creature to squeeze until its eyes pop!  Unfortunately, that happens to be my nine year old yellow lab who is quite used to my overabundance of affection, but I digress...

There are a handful of these baby animals that are going in my "someday" nursery, but I think they look equally amazing in grown up spaces, too. It warms my heart to know that these animals are all raised and, in many cases, rescued, by loving animal handlers who care for them as if they were their own. On a scale of one to ten, these prints are a solid eleven in the sweetness department:

matte stephenson

In my search for some artwork for one of the nurseries I'm just getting started working on, and, in light of the kiddo-inspired post I shared earlier today, I thought I'd share artist Matte Stephens delightful paintings, which I found on Etsy.  I am IN LOVE! And after sending a few favorites to my client, so is she! His quirky paintings are fun, fresh and oh-so-imaginative, just perfect for a young child's room or baby's nursery.  I love the color palette and the adventurous feel of each of his pieces, but, I have to say his paintings of New York city and Alfred, the Scuba Man, are at the top of my list, should there ever be a baby Stivers!  Here are a few of my favorites:
