easy fall table setting

When I picked up these gorgeous gray/green heirloom pumpkins a few weeks back, I put them on my front porch, but I loved the color so much I moved them inside to my kitchen table where I could admire them all day long.  I decided to use them as the basis for a simple Fall-inspired table setting using things I already had around the house, like my white beaded dinner plates, linen napkins, mini white pumpkins and my version of “gilded” mini pumpkin taper candle holders (thanks to my favorite metallic spray paint I always keep on hand).  I snipped some purple sweet potato vine from my yard and stuck them in some of my antique bottles – they added just the pop of color the table needed and are a beautiful contrast against the gray pumpkins! I’m so happy with the way the table turned out and love it even more that the color palette is muted and NOT orange!

Happy Hump Day!
